THE YOU AWARDS INTERNATIONAL TO HONOR YOUNG FUTURE LEADERS AT THE

2ND ANNUAL AWARDS SHOW


Atlanta, GA (February 15, 2017) – The YOU Awards International, Inc. will host its 2nd Annual YOU Awards Show on Saturday, March 25, 2017 from 4-6 p.m. at The Southwest Arts Center Performance Theater located at 915 New Hope Road SW, Atlanta, GA 30331. 

The event will honor 8 talented young leaders between the ages of 15-19 in seven categories. 

These young leaders have set the bar in areas such as: 

Education/Academics, Sports, Business/Entrepreneur, Fine Arts, Entertainment, Technology and Community Service. 

These high-achieving honorees were selected based on GPAs and recommendations
by teachers and community members. This year’s event will honor a young business owner with international clients, an up-and-coming actress who has been featured in several TV shows and movies, two brothers who started a non-profit organization to help stomp out illiteracy, a young piano prodigy and more.


“The night will be amazing as we all come together to uplift and show support to our young people who continue to make a BIG difference in their communities and other communities around the world,” said Michelle Ellis, founder/president of The YOU Awards International.
This year’s program includes 11Alive/WXIA-TV’s Crash Clark as the host. In addition, there will be special performances by the musical group the Melisizwe Brothers as featured on Ellen. Other performers include Myra Sky, Urban Nation, the all-girl group “XZ” and several more outstanding performers to round out the night.


Tickets are available for purchase on The YOU Award’s website ww.youawardsinternational.org or www.brownpapertickets.com. A limited amount of tickets will be available at the door on the day of the event.
