Cochran Mill Nature Center is proud to offer South Fulton's premier nature camp. Campers have the opportunity to spend a week (or more) learning and exploring the natural world. Each week we will investigate a new theme such as "Who Lives In The Water?", "Let's ID It", "What's In The Woods", "Can You See Me Now?" and "Fossils and Rocks". Incredible themes, dynamic staff, and 50 acres of nature to explore provide a stimulating summer experience no matter what age you are







Nature Camp Programs


Camp Cricket for rising Kindergarten & 1st graders

Monday - Friday, 9am - 1pm $120 Non-member/$105 Members *


What’s included: 20 hours of instructor-led programming and a unique camp t-shirt!


  
Will you be in Kindergarten or first grade this fall? Do you like to get outside? Would you like to touch a live animal for the first time? Then Camp Cricket is the place for you! Let’s hike, canoe, and fish. We’ll play fun games, create arts and crafts and have tons of animal fun for everyone! (theme descriptions online)

    
Junior Naturalist Camp for rising 2nd-5th graders
Monday - Friday, 9am - 3pm $170 Non-member/$145 Members*
What’s included: 30 hours of instructor-led programming and a unique camp t-shirt!

Do you like canoeing? Ever caught a fish? Would you like to make a barn owl your new best friend?
These adventures await you at Junior Naturalist camp! Camp themes change each week, so join us for a summer filled with fun! (theme descriptions available online)

                      
Adventure Camp for rising 6th-9th graders
Monday - Wednesday, 9am - 3pm; Thursday 9am - Friday 12pm    
$255 per camper/$225 Members*
What’s included: 45 hours of intense, instructor-led programming, workshops, camp out & t-shirt!

Campers who have outgrown Junior Naturalist Summer Camp can participate in an exciting Adventure Camp program for teens. With the guidance of instructors, campers explore Cochran Mill Nature Center through the eyes of an experienced Naturalist. With content appropriate for their age level and meant to challenge, campers will learn about native Georgia plants, wildlife, and some of their unique adaptations. The program culminates with a camp-out on Thursday night at the Nature Center, including a campfire, cookout, and night hike!
