Back by popular demand, Camp Broadway returns to Atlanta with our New York team of Broadway professionals to present our 15th annual classic theater camp for teens and tweens. Camp Broadway’s Atlanta musical theater camp enables theater-loving kids, ages 10-17, to develop their confidence, character and presentation skills through ensemble performance. Hosted at the Rialto Center for the Arts, our staff will immerse your child in an authentic Broadway rehearsal process that allows all campers to be successful regardless of experience level. "We started working with the terrific folks at Camp Broadway LLC in 2013," says Fran Morris-Rosman, Executive Director of the Ella Fitzgerald Charitable Foundation. "Ella sang hundreds of songs from so many Broadway shows and we're thrilled to carry on her musical and charitable legacy by funding 'camperships' to Camp Broadway in Atlanta."
The First Lady of Song founded The Ella Fitzgerald Charitable Foundation in 1993 to fulfill her desires to use the fruits of her success to help people of all races, cultures and beliefs. Ella hoped to make their lives more rewarding by fostering a love of reading and music, as well as to enable disadvantaged members of our communities to achieve a better quality of life. Ella's official 100th birthday is April 25, 1917. Learn more about her life and legacy at www.ellafitzgeraldfoundation.org.

This year the program features songs and scenes from Dreamworks' Shrek the Musical Jr. The program culminates with the annual Family Finale presented at the Rialto Center for the Arts, located on the campus of Georgia State University.
