We need about 50 volunteers! This is a great service project for church groups, older teens (16 and over) and clubs to get involved with! Foster Fun Day is May 20, 11-4 at the ranch. We are a 501(c)3 Last year we had over 300 in attendance. What a blessing we all received from hosting these precious children and their families! These kids just want to be loved and to belong. Not everyone is called to Foster/Adopt, but everyone is called to do something! Remember; Jesus said to take care of the orphans! Here is our list of needs (besides bodies!) Thank you for taking the time to read this! If anyone would like a copy of the mission statement and needs for their group, please email me and I will gladly send it to you! PLEASE SHARE THIS EVENT! This list does not include items that may be needed for manicures and facials....
We need cups, plastic silverware, ice, need to borrow a cotton candy maker, snacks (chips, cookies, etc) hot dogs, buns, hamburgers, buns, potato salad, baked beans, ice cream cups, popcorn, popcorn oil, snow cone syrup, bags of candy, Porta potty x's 3, 2 bouncy houses, folks to do manicures, facials and hair cuts!
Why should you help?Douglas County and surrounding areas are desperatley in need of foster families! Many of these kids are living in hotel rooms because they have no place else to go! You may not be able to Foster, but you can show these kids the love they so desperatly need!
