Engineering for Kids is an exciting program designed to help inspire the next generation of Engineers! We have a fun and exciting curriculum for our during/after school programs and camps. We are currently recruiting lead and assistant instructors to teach our Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) based curriculum to kids ages 4-14 within the Southwest Metropolitan Area of Atlanta, Georgia. If you enjoy working with children in a technical hands-on capacity, then this is the right opportunity for you! You must be a highly motivated self-starter with related prior experience. If you are interested in being considered for this position, please include a brief "cover letter" along with your submission with your technical background qualifications (either in industry, extracurricular, or in education), experience with working with kids, and why you feel you would be the best candidate for THIS SPECIFIC position. *

Requirements:
- Minimum High School Diploma
- Working towards, a degree in Engineering and/or technical field, or education background WITH emphasis in STEM is a plus
- Must be a responsible and dependable individual with great energy and child-friendly personality
- Confident and able to work independently in a classroom setting managing a group of children (Must pass background check, no exceptions)
- Excellent computer based skills
- Flexible schedule and ability to work a minimum of two afternoons/evenings per week
- Open to travel to multiple locations within Southwest Metropolitan Area (you will be compensated for miles if over a 25 mile distance from your home.
- Prior STEM based education experience a plus
- Desire to become a subject matter expert with potential to train other instructors
- MUST live in Southwest Metropolitan Area (no relocation)
