If you are looking for a great back to school easy dinner idea look no further than puff pastry pizzas!
They make an easy back to school dinner and don't take a lot of time. Plus they are delicious.
Instructions
Start by defrosting the puff pastry for no more than 40 minutes.
I used one box of puff pastry with includes two sheets.
Divide the two sheets into three pieces each.
Brush them with a little egg wash.
Pile on your toppings!
Note: Your pizza toppings are endless! I made six different pizzas.
One pizza had cheese, mushrooms (that were cooked in sherry wine), bell peppers, and a little basil.
My other pizza had just mushrooms and cheese.
My mom's pizza had tomatoes, cheese, pepperoni, bacon, basil and red pepper.
My brother's pizzas had cheese, pizza sauce and basil.
My dad's pizza had pizza sauce, cheese, arugula, bell peppers and bacon.
Bake the pizza at 400 for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
They are a great back to school meal and great fun to make. Its like a New York thin crust but flakier and much more delicious.
