Wolf Creek Library’s Solar Eclipse Celebration!

At this point we all know something Amazing is going to happen on next Monday.  My question is, do you REALLY know what's going to happen?  There is no better place to learn about the Solar Eclipse then at the library.  Join the Macaroni Kid family as we partner with the Atlanta Fulton Public Library system at Wolf Creek Library on Wednesday, August 15, 2017, from 6-7pm;


Fun, Learning and Crafts will educate, entertain and stimulate the minds of all attending.  For a full breakdown on the flow of the evening see below:

This is a first come, first serve event.  Solar Eclipse glasses and craft supplies are limited.

Sign in and get a ticket for solar eclipse glasses (1 per attendee while supplies last). 

Take part in the following stations (as many as you wish and in whatever order you want).

Station # 1- Storytime Room
Looping 5 minute video on the solar eclipse: Why a Total Solar Eclipse is Such a Big Deal by Vox


Station # 2- Storytime Room
A “sun covered by the moon snack”. Recreate a solar eclipse using Oreo cookies.

Station #3- Children’s Area Craft Table –OPTION 1

Station #4- Children’s Area Craft Table –OPTION 2

Station #5- Book Display- Book cart next to Children’s Area Desk

Learn more about the solar eclipse, space, and science by browsing, reading, and checking out our books for children and adults.

If your kids need library cards they can get them at this event.  Be sure to check the library website for information needed to get library cards. Be sure to meet Ms. Charisse the children's librarian and look for Macaroni Kid Moms all around the library!
