Hey Macaroni Family!
Today I made hamburgers. Just Kidding they are cupcakes. I found this recipe in Rosanna Pansino's Cookbook called Nerdy Nummies and thought I'd give it a try. First bake some cupcakes for the buns. (Ha-ha "buns") Next cut the cupcake in half to make the bottom and the top. Then use a biscuit cutter to cut out some brownies to serve as the hamburger patties. They look more realistic when its done. Next get some green food coloring and dye coconut flakes. I bought some already colored icing tubes and made the cheese and ketchup. Sandwich it all together, add some sesame seeds on top, (sprinkles) and skewer with BBQ toothpicks. They look very realistic! It was a fun dessert to make! |
