Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type with ice cream

The Center for Puppetry Arts is celebrating the summer production of Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type, playing June 12-July 29, with a series of special events! Families can look forward to an ice cream truck, petting zoo, mobile dairy and even a mini farmers market! All special events are included at no extra charge with paid all-inclusive or museum-only admission. 

 

Sunday, June 17 from noon- 3 p.m., the Atlanta Ice Cream Truck will be on-site offering delicious, frozen treats to all visitors! Families can beat the heat while celebrating Father’s day with complimentary ice cream, while supplies last. 

 

Next, up on Saturday, June 23, Cricket’s Mobile Petting Zoo will visit the Center for guests to pet goats, pigs, rabbits, chickens, ducks, and sheep before seeing Click, Clack, Moo! The animals will be onsite from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

 

A sensory-friendly performance ofClick, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type will be presented on Sunday, June 24with modifications to the production. The adjustments continue into the Worlds of PuppetryMuseum and in the Create-A-Puppet Workshop™. The Center will also provide a quiet room, social stories, noise-reducing headphones and fidget toys for guests who need those resources. For details, visit puppet.org/asd. 1 p.m.: Sensory-friendly performance

1:45-2:30 p.m.: Modified Create-A-Puppet Workshops™

 

Sunday, July 8, Riverview Farms will be onsite with a Farmer’s Market in the parking lot, offering a variety of nonperishable products for visitors to browse and purchase from noon-3 p.m. 

 

Finally, Sunday, July 15, families can visit the Center for Puppetry Arts to experience the Mobile Dairy Classroom from noon-3 p.m.! The fully functional milking parlor includes a live cow used for milking and feeding demonstrations. 

 

Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type is based on the book by Doreen Cronin with illustrations by Betsy Lewin and is adapted for the puppet stage by the Center’s Artistic Director Jon Ludwig and Resident Puppet Builder Jason Hines.

 

Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type is recommended for ages 4 and up.  All-inclusive tickets $9.75 (Members) and$19.50 (nonmembers). Tickets include admission to the show,entrance to the Create-A-PuppetWorkshop™, where guests can make, decorate and perform with their own Click, Clack, Cow Hand Puppet, as well as admission to the Worlds of PuppetryMuseum, featuring the largest collection of Jim Henson puppets in the world as well as a global gallery.
